Role Overview: Are you passionate about education and making a difference in the lives of learners and schools? We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Trainer to deliver inspiring training, coaching, and assessment to learners on Level 3 and Level 5 Teaching Assistant standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions and workplace coaching.
- Develop creative curriculum content and digital learning resources.
- Support learners through observations, reviews, and portfolio building.
- Deliver short CPD courses in SEND and Autism via the Autism and SEND Fund (ASF).
- Track and report learner progress using e-portfolio systems.
- Collaborate with employers and stakeholders to drive learner success.
- Stay ahead with current legislation, policies, and best practices in education and SEND.
- Contribute to internal quality assurance and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring:
- A Level 5 qualification in a relevant subject area.
- Assessor qualification (CAVA, A1, or equivalent).
- Experience delivering TA Apprenticeships (Level 3/5) and CPD in SEND/Autism.
- Recent experience in an educational setting, ideally in a TA or SEND role.
- Strong communication, coaching, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Teams, and e-portfolio platforms.
Bonus Points for:
- IQA qualification.
- Experience designing curriculum or short courses.
- Understanding of ASF funding and support for learners with EHCPs.
