Key Objectives of the Role

  • Ensure that all prebuilt / preconfigured solutions / systems and hardware is configured and setup in line with Manufacturer, IT and Cyber best practices.
  • Provide responsive, hands-on support for our field-based engineers, systems and customers.
  • Commissioning support for our professional services team.
  • Maintain documentation for processes, systems, assets, and credentials.
  • Play a key role in transitioning legacy systems to new solutions.

Overall Purpose of the Role

This hands-on role goes beyond traditional support offering hands-on involvement in new solutions and physical hardware. We are a small, agile team that values collaboration and impact. In this role, you will:

  • Preconfigure and prebuild security / IT systems before they ship to customer sites. This will involve setting up networks, servers, workstations and a variety of IoT devices.
  • FAT testing of systems and solutions in our Manchester facility.
  • Commissioning support for our professional services team. This will involve working with the customer to extract requirements and data from existing systems, designing a migration methodology and then migrating information into new systems in the required formats.
  • Provide remote technical support.
