About the role:

Are you a detail-driven designer with a passion for delivering high-quality technical solutions? This is an exciting opportunity to join a fourth-generation, family-owned business with over 100 years of expertise, as we launch our brand-new High Security division.

As a Technical Designer, you\’ll take ownership of creating high-spec, multidisciplined security system designs, including Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder Alarms, from concept through to construction. Working closely with clients, you\’ll bring innovative designs to life while ensuring every project meets the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality.

  • Produce detailed technical designs using AutoCAD, BIM 360, and related tools
  • Prepare wiring schematics, block diagrams, and layout plans
  • Attend client design meetings and contribute to solution planning
  • Keep project drawings, registers, and documentation accurate and up to date
  • Support health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across projects
  • Promote best practice and help shape the growth of our High Security division
