Are you a Resident Fire Alarm Engineer working with fire alarm, AOV and suppression systems?
Paying up to: £45k
What can you expect as an employee:
- Salary between £35,000 – £45,000
- 40 hour working week

The ideal candidate would have:
- Good working knowledge of Advanced Electronics and Kentec fire alarm control panels
- Some commissioning experience
- Competence fault-finding on Kentec and Advanced Electronics systems
- Experience servicing gas suppression systems (F-Gas trained)
- Experience servicing AOV systems
- Experience programming panel cause and effect
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working closely with customers at all levels
- IT literacy
- Ability to supervise subcontractors on site
- Ideally Level 3 trained (FIA or Zzeus)
- Ideally based relatively local to site
Qualifications:
- Level 3 fire alarm qualification (FIA or Zzeus) – desirable
- F-Gas training – required for gas suppression servicing
About the role:
- Static resident fire alarm engineer role, based 5 days per week on site
- Based at Brunel University Campus in Uxbridge, Middlesex
- Deliver PPM, reactive works and small works installations
- Work on systems including Advanced Electronics, Kentec and legacy Kidde Vega panels
- Systems reporting via Tyrrell Reporting System using the university IT network
- Complete compliance data reporting and attend monthly review meetings
- Liaise closely with the client and security teams
- Carry out PPM and remedial works on fire alarm, AOV and fire suppression systems
- Supervise subcontractor and additional labour on site
- Ensure all Health & Safety commitments are met
- Create service schedules and manage RAMS, permits and reporting
