We are looking for a reliable and motivated PPM Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks across a range of commercial and industrial sites nationwide. This role is ideal for someone with a strong maintenance background who is confident working independently, takes pride in high standards of work, and is willing to travel throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out scheduled PPM tasks in line with company and client requirements
- Water hygiene monitoring (temperature checks, flushing, inspections)
- TMV servicing and basic maintenance
- Tank inspections and condition reporting
- Basic plumbing repairs and minor remedial works
- Asset inspections and compliance checks
- Accurate completion of service reports and compliance documentation
- Identifying and reporting non-compliances or remedial requirements
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site
- Representing the company professionally when dealing with clients
Essential Requirements
- Experience in PPM, facilities maintenance, or water hygiene
- Basic plumbing knowledge and practical experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and manage own schedule
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (advantageous)
- Water Hygiene / Legionella Awareness Training
- TMV servicing experience
- Experience within commercial, healthcare, or industrial environments
