Summary of Main purpose of the job: This is a new contract support position, providing end to end electronic security solutions to a prestigious client. The estate is operational across 224 sites both within and out with the London Orbital motorway (M25), supporting one of the UK’s leading research and educational establishments. This position requires a dynamic and proactive person with a can-do attitude to provide administration assistance and support to all customers, engineering staff and all others within the business to ensure that the levels of customer “aftercare” are achieved to the required company standards.
Main Duties:
- Support engineering team with day-to-day issues and requirements
- Support senior team members with ‘reactive triage’
- Checks and balances of incoming data from engineering team for PPM and Reactive task completion
- Utilisation of company, client and internet platforms to support with part procurement
- Support to Contractual Management team including Service and Project functions
- General office duties, as and when required
- Liaising with partner providers on returns, costing and PO/Invoice gathering
Advantageous Role Requirement/s:
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and MS Teams
- Attention to detail

- Ability to talk to end users both confidently and factual
- Willing to learn new skills and understanding of Electronic Security equipment
Training/ongoing Development:
- Training will be provided to understand ‘as fitted’ equipment across the estate
- Monthly, Quarterly and yearly face to face 1-2-1s with the contract management team
- Feasibility to attend works and sites with the onsite engineering team for periodic and reactive works
- Personal development and discussion to improve the position viability
- Access to manufacturer platform for training and review purposes
- Any other relevant duties as defined by the Manager

- Ability to work to deadlines, this may require working later than the given working hours to ensure that engineer/customer requirements are completed
