Job Title: Key Account Fire Engineer Location: Central London Salary: Up to £48,000 Benefits: Company van (with private use) Travel expenses paid Travel time paid 25 days holiday Call-out rota 1 in 8 (£220 per week) The Role Our client is looking for a senior Fire Alarm Service Engineer to carry out planned preventive maintenance, reactive fault diagnosis, emergency call-outs and minor remedial works on a wide range of fire detection and life safety systems. This is a senior engineering role requiring a thorough understanding of Cause & Effect (C&E) programming, networked fire alarm systems, fire strategies and interfaced life safety systems within occupied buildings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Gent Vigilon systems and be able to interpret and verify Cause & Effect matrices on large live sites. You'll be confident leading C&E testing, identifying compliance issues, diagnosing complex faults and engaging directly with clients, consultants and responsible persons on high-profile sites. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and rectify faults on complex fire alarm systems Investigate intermittent faults across networked systems Replace and programme field devices, panels, power supplies and interface equipment Attend emergency call-outs and carry out fault rectification Interpret Cause & Effect matrices and fire strategies Verify system operation against design intent and site fire strategy What We're Looking For Extensive experience servicing and maintaining complex, networked fire alarm systems Strong Gent Vigilon experience Proven ability to read, interpret and test Cause & Effect matrices Confident dealing with clients, consultants and responsible persons If you're a senior fire alarm engineer looking for a key account role on high-profile Central London sites, apply now
