Fire & Security Install Engineer

Installation Engineer, Fire & Security Gloucestershire & surrounding area   I'm working with a long established fire and security company who have built a brilliant reputation for quality, much of it through word of mouth. They're NSI Gold accredited for both fire and security and BAFE approved, and they're looking for an experienced Installation Engineer to join their team.   The role You'll install, commission and hand over fire and electronic security systems, many of them bespoke, for clients across the region and beyond. Your coordinator will plan your workload, but you'll manage your own jobs on site, keep accurate commissioning records and report back by phone and email. You'll also fault find, check work done by others and flag any changes the client asks for. As one of the experienced engineers, you'll help train and mentor apprentices too. There's an after hours callout rota, with a callout allowance on top of your salary.   What they're looking for Experience installing and commissioning fire and security systems An apprenticeship or similar qualification Health and safety training records Strong problem solving and fault finding Good communication, customer service and timekeeping Happy working alone or as part of a team Full UK driving licence Able to pass a DBS check IT hardware or software experience would be a real plus, as would a genuine interest in bringing on apprentices.   What's on offer Up to £45,000 basic depending on experience Paid overtime and callout allowance Company vehicle Phone, laptop and tablet Competitive holiday allowance Pension Clear career progression Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week If you'd like to hear more, get in touch with me at Complete Security Recruitment for a confidential chat
