About the role:
My Belfast-based client is seeking an experienced and reliable Fire and Security Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer looking to take ownership of their role and work on a variety of planned and reactive maintenance projects across fire and security systems.
Job Purpose
To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, and emergency response works on a wide range of Fire & Security Systems in accordance with client contracts and safety regulations.
Aims & Objectives
- Maintain engineering standards to maximise system performance and reliability
- Contribute to a high-performing team focused on exceptional client service
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
- Deliver responsive and effective maintenance and support services
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM in line with contract schedules
- Complete reactive maintenance and respond to system faults
- Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs and upgrades
- Ensure all work adheres to relevant health and safety and quality assurance protocols
- Maintain accurate records/documentation for each site
- Liaise with subcontractors and coordinate their attendance on-site
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs as required
- Provide detailed reports and updates for completed work
- Support system upgrades and project-based installations where necessary
- Work alongside and support other trades and engineers on site
