We're working with a global security integrator that delivers industry-leading security solutions to some of the world's biggest organisations. Due to continued growth, they're looking for an Embedded Security Systems Technician to join their team, based in London, with occasional travel across the EMEA region.

The Role
As an Embedded Security Systems Technician, you'll be based within a major corporate environment, ensuring the smooth operation of critical physical security systems. Your role will involve a mix of planned maintenance, reactive fault finding, system support and installation work, helping to keep the client's security infrastructure operating at the highest standard.
You'll work closely with both local and international teams, providing excellent technical support and ensuring all systems remain reliable, compliant and fully operational. No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering a first-class service and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across security systems.
- Responding quickly to reactive service calls and fault finding.
- Supporting and maintaining enterprise-level Access Control, CCTV and Intruder systems.
- Working closely with Service Coordinators and client stakeholders to prioritise daily activities.
- Maintaining the health of installed security systems through regular testing and inspections.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical faults efficiently.
- Completing installation and commissioning work where required.
- Producing accurate service reports and maintaining system documentation.
- Managing local stock of critical spare parts.
- Working alongside global teams to ensure systems meet company standards and service level agreements.
- Following all site Health & Safety and compliance procedures.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with experienced security engineers who have worked on high-end integrated security systems. Ideally you'll have:
- Lenel Expert Certification (essential)
- 5+ years' experience within high-end security integration
- Strong knowledge of:
- Access Control
- CCTV
- Intruder Alarm Systems
- Enterprise Physical Security Systems
- Experience working with IP-based security systems, networking and PoE technologies.
- Knowledge of systems such as Axis, Bosch and TRAKA would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and project documentation.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A professional, customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
