We are seeking an experienced and motivated Remedial Water Hygiene Plumber to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of remedial plumbing works in line with water hygiene and compliance standards across commercial and industrial sites nationwide. This role requires a skilled plumber with strong remedial experience, who is confident working independently and is willing to travel throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out remedial plumbing works in accordance with water hygiene regulations
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of hot and cold water systems
- Dead leg removals and pipework modifications
- TMV servicing, replacement, and installation
- Tank inspections, modifications, and remedial works
- Cylinder replacements and upgrades
- Identifying and rectifying system non-compliances
- Completing accurate job reports and compliance documentation
- Supporting with basic PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) tasks as required
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with current legislation and company standards
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (Level 3 highly desirable)
- Proven experience in remedial plumbing and water hygiene works
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems and water regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required
Desirable Qualifications
- G3 Unvented Hot Water Certification (strongly preferred)
- RPZ Valve Tester Accreditation (advantageous but not essential)
- Experience within commercial or healthcare environments
