Fire & Security Service Engineer - London / M25
Up to £55,000 basic + uncapped commission | Travel time, overtime and call-out pay
Do you want a service role with a high basic salary and commission that has no ceiling? A well-established fire and security business is looking for an experienced Service Engineer to cover London and the M25. You'll be covering a patch of mainly custodial sites, plus commercial and public sector customers. There will be occasional travel to Kent and Sussex.
The role
- Maintain fire and security systems across your assigned area
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to service calls
- Work in line with current standards and customer requirements
- Keep customers informed and updated when arranging site visits
- Spot opportunities for additional work and earn commission on it
Systems you may work on
Experience with some of these is useful, and you don't need all of them:
- Fire alarms: Gent, Notifier and Protec
- Intruder alarms: Galaxy and Pyronix
- CCTV: Hanwha and Hikvision
- Access control: Paxton and Salto
About you
- At least five years' experience in a similar fire and security service role
- Good working knowledge of fire alarm and security systems
- Organised, professional and presentable
- Strong customer service skills, and you're happy to deal directly with customers

- Uncapped sales commission, with OTE considerably higher than the basic salary
