Experience and skills
- At least 5 years' experience in the fire and security industry, ideally with an NSI Gold accredited company.
- Strong knowledge of servicing, maintaining and fault-finding across a range of fire and security systems, including remote monitoring.
- Experience with systems from manufacturers such as Honeywell, Menvier, Texecom, Paxton, C-TEC, Advanced, Morley, Hikvision and Galaxy.
- Able to work independently, make sound decisions under pressure and support colleagues as part of a team.
- Good communication, organisation and planning skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Full, clean driving licence and willingness to join a 24-hour call-out rota.
- Able to meet the required security screening checks, including BS 7858, DBS and police checks.
Key responsibilities
- Help oversee the smooth running of the service area across the North West.
- Support engineers and deliver a first-class service to customers.
- Communicate outstanding issues promptly to the line manager or supervisor.
- Manage revisits effectively and help keep them to a minimum.
- Oversee vehicle stock control and ensure job sheets and audit paperwork are completed accurately.
- Follow company health and safety policies and represent the company professionally.
Package
- Basic salary up to £45,000, depending on experience.
- Door-to-door travel pay.
- Overtime and a 1-in-6 call-out rota, offering additional earning potential.
- 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays, increasing by one day per year of service up to 25 days; negotiable.
