Our client has been delivering precision Fire, Security, and Electrical solutions across London and the Home Counties since 2008, specialising in luxury residential and premium commercial properties. In 2026, they're expanding their field team and looking for engineers who take real pride in their craft.
THE ROLE
This isn't box-ticking. You'll be the go-to expert on-site — diagnosing complex faults, optimising high-spec systems, and building genuine trust with high-end clients. You'll own your PPM diary, backed by a technical team when you need them.
What you'll be doing:
- Servicing and maintaining integrated fire and security systems across commercial, retail, and luxury residential sites
- Diagnosing and resolving complex faults with an analytical, methodical approach
- Carrying out system performance checks and optimisations
- Completing accurate service reports and compliance documentation
- Upholding the company's reputation for first-time fix and client satisfaction

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Essential:
- 5+ years' field service engineering experience — Fire & Security preferred
- Working knowledge of NSI/SSAIB and BAFE standards
- Strong fault-finding ability; confident reading technical diagrams and manuals
- Excellent client-facing communication
- Based within close proximity to the M25, ideally north of the River Thames
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
- ECS/CSCS card and clean H&S record
- NVQ apprenticeship or equivalent industry qualification
- FIA or equivalent certification
- Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
Nice to have:
- Advanced diagnostic techniques and fault-finding best practice
- Experience with remote monitoring platforms
- Up-to-date knowledge of current British Standards
