We are seeking an experienced and reliable Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join our growing team, covering London and the South East. This is a field-based role involving the servicing, maintenance, installation, and inspection of portable fire extinguishers and associated fire safety equipment across a variety of client sites, including high-security environments.
Key Responsibilities- Service, maintain, and install fire extinguishers in accordance with current British Standards (BS 5306)
- Conduct routine inspections and provide detailed service reports
- Identify and rectify faults or compliance issues
- Advise clients on fire safety requirements and best practices
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Represent the company professionally at all times
- Proven experience as a Fire Extinguisher Engineer (essential)
- Previous experience working in high-security clearance buildings (essential)
- Relevant certifications (e.g. BAFE, FETA, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to undergo security vetting as required
- Experience working in government, defence, or other secure facilities
- Additional fire safety qualifications (e.g. alarms, emergency lighting)
