We are working with a growing Fire & Security organisation to appoint a Project Manager responsible for overseeing operations across a key region spanning the Midlands through to London. This is a high-impact role where you will take ownership of regional project delivery, engineer coordination, and operational performance, ensuring jobs are delivered efficiently and customers receive a consistently high standard of service.
You will be managing complexity across multiple locations, balancing priorities, and ensuring that both engineers and customers remain aligned throughout the lifecycle of each project.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will operate as the central point of control for regional operations, linking together engineers, service teams, and clients across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimise engineer scheduling across the Midlands-London region
- Manage engineer capacity, availability, and workload planning across multiple locations
- Act as the primary operational contact between field engineers, service desk, and customers
- Lead and support engineers through performance management and regular check-ins
- Ensure equipment, materials, and logistics are aligned with project requirements
- Plan and allocate installations, maintenance, and reactive works regionally
- Coordinate pre-install requirements including access, compliance, and resource planning
- Track project progress across multiple live sites and resolve issues proactively
- Ensure projects are delivered to agreed timelines, scope, and service levels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across the region
- Coordinate appointments, site access, and expectations
- Manage changes, delays, and escalations professionally
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication
- Identify inefficiencies across regional operations and implement improvements
- Develop scalable scheduling and workflow processes
- Use data and reporting to drive better decision-making and performance
- Produce KPI reports on utilisation, delivery, and performance
- Support commercial objectives by ensuring efficient scheduling and delivery
- Liaise with suppliers and third parties where required

Experience
- Proven experience in project management, operations, or scheduling roles
- Background managing field-based engineering teams across multiple sites or regions
- Experience within Fire & Security, Facilities Management, or similar technical service environments
- Strong experience managing competing priorities and SLAs
