Complete Minds Academy (CMA) is an innovative, values-led online day school for home-educated young people — many of whom have had difficult or disappointing experiences in traditional education. We specialise in small classes, strong relationships, and emotionally intelligent teaching.
About the role
You will teach small, supportive groups of KS3–KS4 students working towards the AQA English Language and Literature specifications, in a warm, student-centred online environment. Lessons are delivered online via Google Meet and Miro, with full guidance and training provided. Our culture values warmth, creativity, and genuine human connection. We are particularly keen to work with teachers who enjoy building trust with students and bringing literature and language to life through discussion, imagination, and multimedia approaches.
What we offer

- An initial commitment of 2–4 hours per week, with clear scope to increase hours over the coming months

You are
- UK-based with UK Qualified Teacher Status
- Qualified to teach UK secondary English (KS3 and GCSE)
- Emotionally intelligent, calm, and reflective in your teaching style
- Comfortable teaching online and open to learning new tools
- Aligned with a relationship-led, student-centred approach to education
Start and availability
We are currently on-boarding teachers for upcoming classes and can offer an early start for the right candidate, following a short probationary period. The probationary period consists of two weeks, teaching two lessons per week to a Key Stage 3 class.
Teaching times (UK):
- Monday: 10:40–11:40am
- Tuesday: 09:35–10:35am
