Complete Metering Services (CMS) was established in 2018 in the South West of the UK and has since grown to employ engineers across England, Scotland and Wales. We specialise in delivering domestic and commercial metering services to an expanding client base nationwide, with a strong focus on safety, our people, and exceptional customer service. In partnership with our clients, we are actively expanding our workforce throughout the UK. We are seeking experienced Dual Fuel Engineers (Directly employed & Self-employed) to perform installations. The position requires technical expertise in electric and gas metering and a strong commitment to providing safe and efficient energy solutions for our customers throughout the UK.
We have both Directly employed and Self-employed positions available.
- Directly Employed:
- £40k salary (£44k inside M25)
- Achievable performance bonus - £5k to £10k per year
- Summer bonus - £1k paid in May
- Christmas bonus - £1k paid in December
- 22 days annual leave increasing to 27 days with length of service (plus bank holidays)

- Self-Employed:
- £220 daily rate for an 8.5 hour workday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break). Flexibility is essential, as some days may require slightly longer hours but this will balance out across the week
- £280 daily rate (if working in an enhanced area)
- £380 daily rate (if transient)
- Two week paid induction training (Petworth) - £100 per day
- Weekly pay for standard daily rate (two weeks in arrears)
- Full branded uniform and boots
- Stock, consumables and logistics
- Phone for the purpose of completing work
Responsibilities:
- Install smart electric and gas meters in compliance with company and industry standards.
- Engage professionally with domestic customers, providing information on the benefits of metering and energy efficiency.
- Meet and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and customer expectations.
- Achieve and surpass work performance targets while adhering to health and safety protocols.
Qualifications: MUST have the following:
- CMA1/CCN1 or equivalent plus MET 1
- MOCOPA/EUSR single phase and/or electrical competence certificate.

Permanent Employed Pay: £40,000.00-£56,000.00 per year
Self Employed Pay: £220- £380 per day
Experience: Gas & Electrical dual fuel metering: 2 years (required)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
