Domiciliary Care Assistant

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will support people to live as independently and comfortably as possible, while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with medication management and ensure clients take their medication as prescribed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, helping clients to maintain social activities and well-being.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition.
• Support clients with mobility, transfers, and daily tasks around the home.
• Report any changes in clients' health or well-being to the team leader or healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.

What We're Looking For:

• A compassionate, patient, and reliable individual with a genuine desire to help others.
• Previous experience in care (preferably in domiciliary care, but not essential).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
• A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently.
• A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle essential.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
