Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Personal Care - Support with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming and toilet. Assist with mobility and safe transfers in and out of beds etc. Use of mobility aids when required.
  • Health & Medication Support - Assist with medication: administration or reminders as prescribed. Support with feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
  • Emotional & Social Support - Offer companionship. Encourage social interaction and help clients stay connected with loved ones. Provide reassurance and emotional wellbeing.
  • Domestic Assistance - Help with light household tasks including; cleaning, laundry and meal prep. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
  • Communication & Documentation - Record and report changes in health, mood, or behaviour. Communicate clearly with family members, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
  • Personal Advocacy - Empower individuals to make choices and decisions about their care. Ensure clients' rights and dignity are upheld at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience - Previous care experience is helpful but not essential as full training is provided.
  • Communication Skills - Strong spoken and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively.
  • Drivers License - A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential.
  • Flexibility - Ability to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends.
