A Domiciliary Care Worker provides essential support to individuals in their own homes, assisting with personal care, daily living tasks, and promoting independence while ensuring dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care & Support: Assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. Supporting with mobility and use of aids (e.g., hoists, walking frames). Assisting with medication reminders in line with care plans.
  • Household & Practical Support: Preparing and serving meals and drinks according to dietary requirements. Performing light domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping. Supporting service users with household management as needed.
  • Emotional & Social Support: Encouraging social engagement and companionship. Promoting independence and dignity at all times.
