Purpose: A Domiciliary Care Worker provides essential support to individuals in their own homes, assisting with personal care, daily living tasks, and promoting independence while ensuring dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Personal Care & Support Assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.

Supporting with mobility and use of aids (e. g., hoists, walking frames).

Assisting with medication reminders in line with care plans.

  • Household & Practical Support Preparing and serving meals and drinks according to dietary requirements.

Performing light domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.

Supporting service users with household management as needed.
