We specialise in looking after the fire protection requirements of almost all types of buildings. The successful candidate will be joining a company that is not only interesting but friendly and stable.
Due to continued commercial success and expansion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an engineer to carry out planned maintenance, servicing and breakdown work on both Addressable and Conventional Fire Alarm Systems. We are recruiting in Manchester, Liverpool and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Working alongside the admin team to schedule work efficiently
- Maintaining fire safety systems on a daily basis
- Identifying faults
- Attending emergency call outs
- Carrying out repair, remedial works and on occasions installations when necessary
- Accurately completing electronic worksheets
- Liaising closely with the service team
The Candidate:
You will have strong relevant fire system servicing and fault finding experience and live within easy access of Manchester and surrounding areas. You must have excellent communication and customer service ability with good organisation skills.
Key experience essential for the role:
- A minimum of three years fire safety system engineering experience
- A Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A firm grasp of BS standards with relevant qualifications to support
Key experience desirable for the role:
- A knowledge of fire alarm design, Emergency Lighting and smoke vents experience is highly desirable but not essential
- Fire extinguisher maintenance qualifications or experience is also desirable
- Knowledge of BS standards
