Role Description

Complete Fire Protection Watford Ltd is seeking a Fire Alarm Bell Tester & E/L Flick Tester for a part time (3 days – maybe 4) to service properties in Watford, Outer London, Bucks & Berks & Surrey. The primary responsibilities include bell testing fire alarm systems and monthly flick tests to emergency lighting systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety regulations. The role also involves inspecting, documenting results, and reporting any issues or faults to the supervisor for corrective actions. Ensuring the proper maintenance and operational status of fire prevention and safety systems is a key focus of this position.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Fire Prevention and Fire Safety practices
• Knowledge of Life Safety and Fire Protection regulations
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential safety hazards
• Good communication and report writing skills
• Commitment to safety protocols and standards
• Experience in similar roles or certifications related to fire safety would be an advantage
• Willingness to work on customers\’ sites

May suit a retiree or someone wanting about 3-4 days work a week. Knowledge of panels expected and training given too. Sites are mainly around Watford & High Wycombe, with some others in the home counties, total around 45 sites. Must be reliable and punctual.
