To support the day-to-day running of the dental laboratory by assisting with administrative tasks, handling incoming and outgoing work, and acting as a point of contact between the laboratory and dental practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming postal and courier orders to the correct laboratory department.
- Book laboratory jobs into the diary or system accurately, ensuring due dates and instructions are recorded.
- Write patient and dentist details clearly on models to ensure correct identification.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and deal with basic enquiries from dental practices.
- Pass technical questions to technicians and contact dentists when clarification is required.
- Check completed work against job details before dispatch.
- Package and dispatch completed laboratory work safely and correctly.
- Assist with monitoring stock levels and ordering laboratory and stationery supplies as required.
- Maintain records and support the laboratory team with general administrative duties.
- Scanning / Archiving of Plaster Models using a 3D Scanner.
