Job Description

Job Title: School Assessments and Data Manager

Location: DagenhamHours: 36 hours per week, Term Time Start Date: as soon as possible Contract Type: Temporary/PermanentSalary: 33,000-35,000 depending on experience.

About the Role

Complete classroom services are seeking a skilled and highly organised Assessments and Data Manager to join a school we are working with. This is a vital role within the school, responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of student assessment and performance data.

You will work closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, and the examinations officer to ensure accurate and timely data collection, analysis and reporting. Your work will directly support teaching, learning, and school improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all student assessment data and reporting systems
  • Produce data reports and analysis for senior leaders, teachers, and governors
  • Oversee data entry and quality assurance within the school’s Management Information System (SIMS)
  • Coordinate assessment cycles and data drops
  • Support the analysis of progress, attainment, and performance trends
  • Provide staff training and support on data systems and procedures
  • Liaise with external agencies as needed (e.g. DfE, LA, exam boards)

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience using SIMS, Bromcom or Arbor (essential)
  • Strong IT and data analysis skills (Excel proficiency required)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
  • Previous experience in a school or education setting (preferred)
