Cover Teacher – Luton Immediate Opportunities | EYFS–KS2 | Up to £160 per day PAYE | Umbrella Option Available
Complete Classroom Services is looking for confident and committed Cover Teachers to support primary schools across Luton, covering classes from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through to Key Stage 2 (KS2).
This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety, can adapt quickly to new classroom environments and want the flexibility to work across different year groups. Whether you are looking for regular cover work or assignments that fit around your existing commitments, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Follow the school's existing lesson plans and prepared resources.
Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
Ensure pupils remain engaged, supported and focused on their learning.
Adapt to different teaching environments and the needs of individual classes.
Provide a smooth transition for pupils in the absence of their usual teacher.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
The confidence to cover a range of year groups from EYFS to KS2.
Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
A flexible, dependable and professional approach.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupils' wellbeing.
