CCS are currently recruiting for an experienced and proactive School Site Manager to join a dedicated outstanding Ofsted primary school.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced School Site Manager or a highly experienced School Caretaker looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, well‑maintained, and ready to provide an outstanding learning environment for pupils and staff.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 11:00am
- Monday to Friday: 2:00pm – 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the school each day.
- Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks.
- Ensuring the school premises are safe, clean, and secure.
- Managing health and safety compliance across the site.
- Conducting routine building and equipment checks.
- Liaising with contractors and overseeing work carried out on site.
- Managing site security, including alarms and access.
- Supporting the school with planned maintenance projects and emergency repairs.
- Assisting with the setup of school events where required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working as a School Site Manager or an experienced School Caretaker looking to progress.
- Strong practical maintenance and DIY skills.
- Good knowledge of health and safety procedures within a school environment.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining high standards.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one).
