Complete Classroom Services are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming all-through SEND school in Hounslow, supporting pupils from Reception to Year 11. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students with a range of additional needs, primarily Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), challenging behaviour and emotional needs. Some pupils also have medical conditions, including epilepsy and asthma, so confidence in supporting children with complex needs is essential.

  • Supporting pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Supporting pupils to follow daily routines, learning activities and therapeutic programmes
  • Working closely with the school's therapy team to deliver tailored support
  • Has experience supporting children or young people with SEND
  • Open to people that have recently graduated in Psychology
  • Is confident supporting pupils with ASD and behavioural needs
  • Holds a DBS on the Update Service
  • Is patient, proactive and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Is available to work full-time from September
