We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist all-through SEN school in Reading, supporting pupils from primary through to secondary age. This is a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for someone looking to build a meaningful and stable career within special education.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASC) and ADHD
- Work 1:1 and in small groups to support learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
- Support pupils with both academic and social development
The Ideal Candidate
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly autism and ADHD
- Is patient, resilient, and genuinely passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs
