Complete Classroom Services (CCS) are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established coeducational secondary school to recruit a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to join an Ofsted-rated “Good” 11–16 secondary school with a supportive leadership team, strong behaviour policies, and a positive learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, preparing students for GCSE examinations in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (Combined or Triple Science), and supporting pupils to achieve their full academic potential.
The Role:
- Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
- Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Delivering either Combined Science and/or Triple Science GCSE content
- Monitoring and assessing student progress
- Conducting practical experiments in line with health and safety requirements
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve strong outcomes
- Working collaboratively with the wider Science department and school staff
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school setting
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Have strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Be passionate about raising attainment and student engagement
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
