Complete Classroom Services are currently recruiting Caretakers to work across a variety of Primary, Secondary, and SEN schools in the Barking and wider East London area. We are looking for individuals who take pride in maintaining safe, clean, and secure school environments. Whether you have school-based experience or transferable skills from similar roles, we want to hear from you! Your Responsibilities Will Include: Opening and closing school buildings, ensuring site security Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance (DIY, basic plumbing, etc.) Health & Safety checks, including fire alarms and emergency exits Maintaining cleanliness in communal areas (indoor and outdoor) Monitoring heating, lighting, and water systems Supporting site setups for school events and meetings Liaising with external contractors and reporting site issues Ensuring safeguarding standards are upheld on school premises Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous caretaker or facilities experience (preferred) Basic maintenance/DIY skills A proactive and trustworthy attitude Good communication skills and flexibility An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply) Why Work with Us?
