About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the school on a full-time basis. This role involves working closely with students who require additional support, both in and out of the classroom. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of needs, helping them to access the curriculum, develop confidence, and engage positively with their learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to students with additional needs
- Work 1:1 and with small groups to support learning and development
- Support students with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
- Assist teachers with adapting lessons and classroom activities
- Help manage behaviour and promote a calm, supportive learning environment
- Carry out general duties expected in a secondary school setting
About You
- Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting individuals with SEN is highly desirable
