CCS is currently in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic maths teacher to join a co-educational secondary school (11–16) on a long-term supply basis starting in April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed maths teacher to work within a supportive and well-structured environment. A significant number of lesson resources are already in place, giving the incoming maths teacher the advantage of reduced planning, while still allowing scope to adapt and create lessons where needed.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons as a maths teacher across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Use a combination of pre-prepared resources and your own planning
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students of all abilities
- Assess and monitor student progress in line with school expectations
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with the wider maths department
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching secondary mathematics
