About the role:
Are you a creative PE Teacher looking for a new challenge? Complete Classroom Services are currently working with a Good Secondary School based in the heart of Southwark who are looking for a PE Teacher for Maternity Cover to teach PE to KS3-KS4 students. To start in September 2025 for a 1 year contract.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of all students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their PE skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development to improve teaching practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Requirements:
- QTS
- Experience teaching PE up to KS3/4/5
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
- Good knowledge of the Curriculum
