CCS are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner on behalf of an Outstanding Ofsted-rated primary school in the Borough of Stockport.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly school environment where maintaining high standards of cleanliness is essential to providing a safe and welcoming learning space for pupils and staff.
- Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Total: 5 hours per day (25 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas.
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
- Dusting and wiping surfaces, furniture and fixtures.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms and replenishing consumables.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Cleaning windows, doors and internal glass where required.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the school.
- Locking/unlocking designated areas as required.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
- Following all school health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines.
- Working independently and as part of the cleaning team to ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard.
Essential Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
- A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Good understanding of hygiene and health & safety practices.
- Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the DBS Update Service.
- Right to work in the UK.
