An ambitious and high-performing secondary school for girls in South West London is seeking to appoint a committed and inspiringHead of Economics, Business Studies and Business Vocational Subjects for a fixed term of one academic year starting inSeptember 2025 .

This is a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic and expanding department that delivers a rich curriculum acrossA Level, BTEC, and T Level pathways, preparing students for success in university, employment, and beyond.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development and delivery of a curriculum that includesA Level Economics and Business Studies (Edexcel) ,BTEC Level 2 and 3 Business , and theT Level in Management & Administration
  • Inspire and support a team of subject teachers to deliver excellent outcomes
  • Promote innovative and inclusive teaching practices
  • Drive achievement across both academic and vocational routes
  • Contribute to whole-school improvement through effective departmental leadership

We’re Looking For

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with a strong academic background in Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience teaching both A Level and vocational qualifications at KS5
  • A track record of successful team leadership or the ambition and potential to take that next step
  • A flexible, collaborative, and innovative approach to teaching and learning
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and high expectations for all students
