Complete Classroom Services is recruiting a School Administrative Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Ealing (UB1).

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced school administrator who can provide outstanding administrative support while also acting as a qualified first aider within the school.

About the Role

Complete Classroom Services is seeking a confident and organised School Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day running of a busy school office.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, office staff, pupils, parents, and visitors, you will provide efficient administrative support while ensuring the smooth operation of the school's front office.

A valid First Aid qualification is mandatory, and you will be responsible for administering first aid and maintaining accurate medical records when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the school office.
  • Greeting and assisting visitors, parents, pupils, and contractors professionally.
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries.
  • Managing pupil records, attendance, and admissions using the school's MIS system (SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom).
  • Maintaining accurate filing systems and updating school databases.
  • Preparing letters, reports, and other school documentation.
  • Supporting the Senior Leadership Team with general administration.
  • Ordering office supplies and maintaining administrative records.
  • Administering first aid to pupils and staff when required.
  • Maintaining accident books, medical records, and first aid supplies.
  • Following safeguarding procedures, including visitor sign-in processes.
  • Supporting the wider school team with day-to-day administrative duties.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous administrative experience within a school environment is essential.
  • A valid First Aid at Work or Paediatric First Aid qualification (mandatory).
  • Experience using school Management Information Systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
  • A professional, approachable, and flexible attitude.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
