The Role
Our client is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic full-time Maths Teacher to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (ages 11–16). The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons that promote strong numeracy skills, logical thinking, and academic confidence, preparing students effectively for GCSE examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Mathematics lessons
- Teach across KS3 and KS4, preparing students for GCSE
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress in line with school policy
- Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
- Support intervention strategies to raise attainment
- Participate fully in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Mathematics
- Have experience teaching at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Be confident delivering GCSE Mathematics
- Be committed to raising achievement and supporting student progress
