CCS is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join a secondary school on a long-term supply basis with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging Biology lessons and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role
- Teaching Biology to students in Years 7–10
- Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality lessons
- Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Building strong relationships with students, staff and parents
- Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Contributing positively to the wider school community
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to build excellent rapport with students and staff
- A flexible, proactive and professional approach
- A genuine passion for teaching and learning
