We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and inspirational Nursery Manager to lead a welcoming and well-established nursery in Bracknell from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated early years professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding childcare and education. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning and safeguarding are maintained.
The Role
- Lead, motivate and support the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years education and care.
- Oversee the daily operation of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children.
- Ensure compliance with EYFS statutory requirements, safeguarding procedures and all relevant policies and legislation.
- Monitor the quality of teaching and learning, supporting staff development and continuous improvement.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and external agencies.
- Manage staff recruitment, induction, training, performance and supervision.
- Oversee occupancy levels, admissions and nursery administration.
- Manage budgets, resources and operational requirements effectively.
- Prepare for and support inspections, maintaining high standards across all aspects of the nursery.
The Ideal Candidate
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare as a minimum (Level 5 or above desirable).
- Previous experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Nursery Manager or senior leadership role within an early years setting.
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding requirements.
- Proven leadership, organisational and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for children and supporting staff development.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
