The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging Art and Textiles lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE (Key Stage 4).
- Inspire students to develop their creativity, technical skills and confidence through a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations, supporting them to achieve their full potential.
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress, using assessment to inform planning and intervention.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the continued success of the Art department.
- Participate fully in departmental meetings, parents evenings, school events and wider school life.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour, attendance and achievement.
