Complete Classroom Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Bedford, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate education professional who is committed to helping children overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence and achieve their full potential within a supportive and inclusive school environment.
The Role
- Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with additional needs.
- Support teaching and learning across the primary curriculum.
- Assist pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
- Implement strategies to support positive behaviour, engagement and inclusion.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider school team to meet individual learning needs.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.
- A patient, compassionate and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and classroom support skills.
- A genuine commitment to inclusive education and pupil development.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one, subject to safeguarding requirements.
