We are looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our warm, welcoming and nurturing nursery. Your Main Role and Responsibilities

  • Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality care and education
  • Ensure the nursery operates in line with the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
  • Support staff development through guidance, mentoring and role modelling good practice
  • Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community
  • Support the monitoring of children's learning and development to ensure high-quality practice
  • Step into the Manager role when required to ensure smooth nursery operations

What We Are Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
  • Previous experience in a senior practitioner, room leader or leadership role
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality childcare and education
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
