We are looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our warm, welcoming and nurturing nursery. Our children thrive, our staff feel valued, and we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care and education. Your Main Role and Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality care and education
- Ensure the nursery operates in line with the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
- Support staff development through guidance, mentoring and role modelling good practice
- Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community
- Support the monitoring of children's learning and development to ensure high-quality practice
- Step into the Manager role when required to ensure smooth nursery operations
What We Are Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
- Previous experience in a senior practitioner, room leader or leadership role
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality childcare and education
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
