We are looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Registered Manager to manage our Registered Care Home. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the operation of the service and accountable to Senior Management and Directors of the organisation. You will be expected to operate the service in such a way that it provides a safe, homely, stimulating and developmental environment for service users, visitors and staff.
Please note that this role is directly with the company as an employer and NOT with a recruitment agency.
Key Responsibilities:- To maintain and drive up quality standards; ensuring that all CQC fundamental standards are met and exceeded; as well as Local Authority Contract Monitoring standards.
- To continuously review own performance and development needs to assist growth and development.
- To ensure a safe working environment for self and colleagues.
- To manage the budget of the service.
- To ensure compliance with internal and external standards and codes of conduct.
- To proactively deliver a high quality/person centred service provision that meets the individual and personalised needs of all service users.
- To work collaboratively to develop the service.
- To help service users achieve their potential.
- To ensure all services are delivered in accordance with recognised standards.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor the message to the audience.
- Track record of managing services and achieving “Good” or “Outstanding” CQC ratings in previous services.
- QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
- Proven track record of working within the Learning Disability sector.
- Collaborative leadership skills.
- Experience in supervising a small team where appropriate to the role.
- Adaptable and able to work in a challenging and changeable environment.
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and creativity when developing support packages.
- To be able to drive the service vehicle; therefore hold a full UK driving license.
- Experience in managing a caseload of service users with complex needs.
