Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Complex Care Assistant to support our client in their home in Leighton Buzzard. This is a role focused on medical and social well-being, building strong relationships, and providing high-quality and attentive care. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting independence and enhancing the client's quality of life. The client has pet cats, enjoys gardening, and likes chatting with carers.
Responsibilities
Tracheostomy care
Ventilator support
Catheter care
Personal care
Meal and drink preparation
Shopping
Light cleaning and laundry
Taking the client to appointments and days out
Driving the client's mobility vehicle (full UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years required)
You will receive full nurse-led training and clinical support to develop in key areas such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, catheter care, and more. A full UK driving licence is required to drive the client's car to appointments and days out.
Shifts
Day Shifts – Wednesday 8.45 am – 8.45 pm, Thursday 8.45 am – 2 pm, Friday 8.45 am – 8.45 pm
Waking Nights – 8:45 pm – 8:45 am, various nights across the week
