Job Description

What You’ll Do

This role involves supporting a young child with a tracheostomy and PEG feed. While training will be provided, experience in tracheostomy and PEG feed management, as well as caring for children, is preferred.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills as a Complex Care Assistant. You will receive full training and clinical support to enhance skills in areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.

We support individuals of all ages with complex needs including spinal cord injury, muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries, and more. Each day presents new challenges, and your work will make a positive impact on clients’ lives while you grow professionally.

Qualifications

What you’ll need

Experience caring for children with tracheostomy and PEG feed is essential. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference to a family by providing dedicated care and support. Full training and ongoing clinical support will be provided to develop skills in tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.
