24 - 32 hours a week. Weekdays and weekends. Shifts are either 07:00 - 15:00 or 14:00 - 22:00.
We are seeking a team of female support workers to care for a client with a spinal injury. The ideal candidate would be someone who can support and encourage our client's independence.
- Full assistance with daily exercises and personal care including showering, hair care, nails, catheter care, toileting, and dressing.
- Must be fit and able to walk reasonable distances as our client enjoys social activities outside the home.
- Keep the client's home clean, tidy, and organized to a high standard.
- Able to prepare meals to the client's taste.
- Caring and kind, good listener and communicator.
- Cheerful and friendly but able to recognise when the client needs time to be by themselves.
- Respect that you will be working in the client's home.
- Able to follow instructions and procedures.
- Able to work in a team but also use their initiative.
- Willing to adapt to ongoing training as the client’s practice and needs may change.
Job Type: Part-time. Salary: £13.00 - £13.50.
