Wednesday and Thursday 14:00 - 22:00 and every alternate Sunday
We are seeking a team of female support workers to care for a client with a spinal injury.
The Ideal candidate
- Would be someone who can support and encourage our client's independence.
- Full assistance with daily exercises and assist the client with personal care including showering, hair care and nails, catheter care, toileting and dressing.
- Must be fit and able to walk reasonable distances as our client enjoys social activities outside the home.
- Keep the client's home clean, tidy and organized to a high standard.
- Able to prepare meals to the clients taste.
- Caring and kind, good listener and communicator.
- Cheerful and friendly but be able to recognise when the client needs time to be by themselves.
There is a room carers can sit in, Our client will let you know when they require assistance from you.
- Respect that you will be working in the clients home.
- Able to follow instructions and procedures.
- Able to work in a team but also use their initiative.
- Willing to adapt to ongoing training as client's practice and needs may change.
