The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Academy Junior Sports Scientist to join us at Burnley Football Club. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Club’s ongoing development and helping us deliver a first-class experience for players, staff, and supporters.
About You
Are you passionate about football and looking for your next challenge in the game? Come and join our Clarets family as our Academy Junior Sports Scientist! The ideal candidate will have all essential qualifications and previous experience in a sports setting. You will also need to have a flexible approach to work and be able to work evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with Head of Academy Human Performance and Medicine and Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach regarding players within the YDP.
- Lead the organisation and planning of GPS data collection for the U16s.
- Provide support to the YDP through pitch-based syllabus and ILP sessions.
